WHY HAVE I BEEN GETTING THESE HORRIBLE DISGUSTING TONSIL STONES CONTINUOUSLY FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS?

JUST AN UPDATE. I HAVE SEEN THE SPECIALIST AND HE SAID MY TONSILS DEFINITELY NEED TO COME OUT.MY TONSILS ARE VERY LARGE WITH LARGE CIRCULAR HOLES.I AM LEARNING NOW TO PUSH THEM OUT HOWEVER I HAVE HAD 3 DESPERATE SEPTIC THROAT INFECTIONS AND HAD TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK.THE DENTIST STATED THAT THERE IS NOTHING HE CAN DO AS MY TEETH ARE PERFECT AND HE CAN’T DO ANYTHING FOR ME.IM NOW WAITING TO GO IN FOR MY OPERATION.I GET THESE TONSIL STONES EVERY DAY AND JUST PRAY THAT WHEN TONSILS ARE REMOVED THAT I HONESTLY GET A NEW QUALITY OF LIFE AND CAN TALK TO PEOPLE IN COMFORT.

I feel for you. Wish I could find someone to take my tonsils out. Just little pits where food collects. Docs just say to gargle, but it doesn’t help. Congrats on your opportunity for a better life:)
The tonsils are part of the immune system in that they recognize potential ingested pathogens and begin the immune response to them. Since you are chronically getting this response you may have a food allergy. Imagine this, every time you eat a certain food which you have an allergy to your immune system tries to fight it off. The result is puss constantly forming in your tonsils and eventually hardening. I would look at your diet and see what foods you eat often which could potentially be a food allergy. Talk to your doctor about this, maybe it’ll help.

I have these gross tonsil stones, too. I sometimes even swallow it and it gets stuck there for days. I just need to get these things out.
