White patch on tonsils but no other symptoms?

I’ve had strep and tonsillitis before and the patch looks similar to that, however, with those infections, I’ve gotten other very bad symptoms. I haven’t had any other symptoms and it doesn’t seem to be getting any worse. There is just one small patch and my throat is a little sore, but it’s always sore from allergies. Could it be allergies or postnasal drip..or something of the like?

I think the white stuff is a sign of infection that has to be treated with antibiotics.
As for the lack of symptoms, when I was a kid I was frequently a "carrier" of things. Other kids would keep getting sick over and over, and I would feel fine, only for my doctor to discover that I did have strep, just with no symptoms.
Go to the doctor just for good measure.
Could be chronic strep.
ive had this, its just swollen glands, try eating some honey or chocolate that coats them and takes away some of the pain. but they will go down on there own in no time!
im getting my tonsils out in oct! lol idk good luck
