Whats a good cure/symptom easer for tonsillitis?

By the way I cant get to my gp till Monday so only on the shelf goods

Gargle with soluble asprin. Suck on ice cubes & have ice cold drinks.

good spoon of honey in some hot lemonade should sooth your throat. I f it is tonsillitis you will need antibiotics
