What should I do about my tonsillitis?

I’ve had tonsillitis once before and I had to go to the emergency room for it because it hurt sooo bad :[
I know that last week I had it again because remember the symptoms from last year.
Today it has gotten better so I’m happy about that 
But should I try to get my tonsils removed?
What’s the process for doing so, would it be a good idea, and does it hurt afterwards?
Oh and would I be missing school for it, and approximately how much?

Well I am in the UK and I have had it 13 times : ( lol, and they’re still not removing them. So I don’t know how much it would cost coz it would be free here. I have heard it hurts after, but the mouth is the quickest place on the body to heal so it should be quick.

gargle with warm salt water for a while. Also put a spoonful of honey in your mouth tilt your head back and let in drain into your throat.
Good home cures. I would advise that you do go to a doctor, ask him to rate the size of your tonsils they rate them on a one to five scale.
The Doc will recommend that you have them removed if they are a four or better. Your tonsils actually get bigger as you age. So if you have size 4 and your in your 20’s or 30’s you need them out now!
