It looks like the skin has ripped off, i don’t know how to explain what it is but I’m sure a lot of you have experienced it before.
Any explanations/suggestions/medicines or cures?
Thanks alot.
I am 16 and i dont usually smoke, i just did it for 3 days.. about 30 mins every day for 3 days.
Its a strep on my soft palate. I just want to know how long it should end or what i can do to relieve it.
I do drink though.
Thanks airmac50.. Can we speak on Yahoo or Msn? Thanks for the advice anyway. Its too small to be strep though, it does hurt when i swallow but otherwise ive been fine since it appeared.

Quit drinking and smoking. It’s an irritation. If it doesn’t go away after giving a rest, see a doctor, could be a precurser to cancer.
Addition: If you’re only sixteen, not likely to be cancer. If diagnosed by md with strep, shouldn’t be smoking. Gargle with salt water per other answer and take your antibiotics.
BTW: Strep throat tends to have gray and white patches all over the throat. It makes you say yuck when you see it.
Sure, tried to IM you win. live and sent email.
U gotta live through it… its a bitch ive had it… on my tongue yikes… it SUCKS just keep rinsing ur mouth with salt water
Btw its called an ulcer
quit drinking for a while.. it takes a weeks to completly heal
You probably have an outbreak of the herpes simplex virus. Otherwise known as cold sores and canker sores. It is very common for people to have it, and if you were smoking hookah it is safe to assume you were sharing with your buddies, and smoking off the same hose. You could have gotten it from one of them, or the virus could have been dormant and broken out right now by coincidence. It will last for a few days, but if it doesn’t go away you could go get it checked out.
