Oh my word, honey, get thee back to the ER stat!!!! It almost sounds like mononucleosis--the tiredness, the fever. Honestly, it could be anything. Hard to tell without labs drawn. Is your face swollen? What about your eyes? Can you feel lumps on either side of your neck? If you can, those may be your swollen lymph nodes. Back to the mono diagnosis, maybe.
I think the extreme thirst is from the fever. You are dehydrated and you're not eating anything AND you're barfing a bunch = really dehydrated. At the very least you need an IV tonight at the hospital and a monospot and a CBC with Diff TONIGHT.
Didn't the nurse or someone draw labs when you went to the hospital a couple of days ago?

call the doctor again.... you could be having an adverse reaction to the antibiotic but you SHOULD be feeling SOME relief from the sore throat BECAUSE of the antibiotic--if that is unchanged and stomach and fever is worse, by all means call the doctor ASAP.... you don't want to be too long with a temp over 103....

I know how you feel because I also have tonsillitis and the simptoms are quite similar. You need to remember that not in all situations tonsillitis is caused by bacteria, there are some instances where is caused by other factors.

The sensations you have, being thirsty, lack of appetite, lack of energy, etc is the consequence of the infection in your tonsils.

You can get some relief by using Lidocaine in your mouth, which is a local anesthetic. This could help you to eat without the pain.

About the antibiotic, I assume you are taking pennicilin, which is the standard in these cases. Try to go back to your doctor and ask for the injected version of the antibiotic. Its more powerfull and far more effective.

Try to drink as much as you can, particularly fruit juices or similar drinks and forget colas' or other artificial stuff.
