Hi. I just had tonsil surgery and I have to eat soft foods for the next week. I have been eating smoothies and popsicles for the last few days, and I am sick of them. Any soft foods/ recipes you can recommend? (Besides ice cream, smoothies, popcicles, apple sauce, and jello) Thank You for your help!

Plain pasta, things such as soup’s, and soft fruit’s – without pips.
Im sorry i cant think of anything more. xx
How about soft boiled or poached eggs over browned(not toasted) bread. If you put a poached egg over the browned bread it will make it real soft. Then there is always all different types of puddings also. Try to google soft foods and see what comes up. Good luck and God Bless
Unfortunately, due to the nature of your surgery. You should really stick with soft foods even the ones that are annoying you. But, you could try tuna fish sandwiches (Take small bites rather that big bites), You can try Mac and Cheese or mashed potatoes, You can try poached eggs or srammbled eggs. Maybe some chicken or beef noodle soup.
You should avoid spicy, hard, crunchy foods as this will irriitate the sutures where your tonsils were removed. I sure do feel for you. But, try to hang in there and gradually work back up to your normal diet.
Good luck
