You should try gargling with Listerine. If that doesn't help, see your dentist.

I just realized that i have the same problem. I have this white debris stuck in my right tonsil that has a foul smell to it. I'm going to visit my ear nose and throat doctor tommorow to see what he says. I heard they may prescribe an antibiotic because of the bacteria. I would just suggest you see a ENT specialist as well. Good luck!

That happens to me too! It's such a pain, not that it hurts alot, but it's just aggrivating to know something is back there and you can feel it when you swallow, ya know? I've heard of people using Q Tips or sterilized spoons, but that just sounds kind of scary. I've also heard that your dentist can get them out? And the only way to get rid of them for good is to have your tonsils removed?
I hope this helped!

Cut back on dairy products, brush your tongue (very important), try to avoid having sinus problems flaring up, because mucus creeping down the throat is part of the problem.

Next time you go to the dentist ask for one of those cheap water syringes. They gave me one when they put in my bridge. It can clear out food in tight spots but its not too powerful to were it would hurt. Also just see if you can push one out every other day or so. Eventually you won't gag or hurt yourself doing it. I've got to the point where I can kinda pull the tonsil back in look behind it sort of.
