tonsil removal procedure?

how long do you stay at the hospital for after you get your tonsils removed? does the procedure hurt? how long will it take to recover? and why is sar a douche?

My boyfriend has his tonsils out a while ago. You stay at the hospital for like 3 hours, it’s an in and out procedure. It takes about 2 weeks to feel completely better, but your throat won’t hurt BAD during those 2 weeks, you’ll have pain medicine, and it only feels like a regular itchy throat you’d get when you have a cold. The procedure doesn’t hurt at all. I don’t know why sar is a douche.
