tonsil removal cost ???/?

can anyone please tell me whats the average cost of getting my tonsils removed??
and also what are the possible downfalls of having them removed?

Not sure of the cost..insurance covered mine. The only downfall to having them removed is if you’re over 18 or so – recovery time will be longer. I was 38 when I had them removed and I thought I was dying. Everyday I felt worse and worse. It took me a good month before I started feeling better..a good three months before I felt myself again. But I’m so glad I did it. I was a carrier of the strep virus. I have had no more problems with my throat at all. It was worth it. Good Luck
