tonsil removal?

my tonsils are big and swollen and possibly infected, when i turn my head to either side, my neck glands hurt..or when i don’t notice they don’t hurt at all..and sometimes i feel pressing in my throat..
are they infected? do they have to be removed?

You should go to your doctor. Only he can tell you if your tonsils need to be removed or not. Most of the time you have them removed when you have frequent tronsilitis or strep.
Maybe. They try not to remove them unless they are a repeated source of infection. They do sound infected.
You should defintely be going to the Dr. asap…!
I had the smae case when I was in High school. My tonsils swoll all up, i couldn’ swallow. The pain was worse before the removal! They ended up getting infected, causing me to get sick & get MONO. Unfortunately, it caused me to be extremely sick for about 2 weeks… I advice you to go get them removed. Itll suck for awhile, but its worth it.
