Tonsil and nose surgery?

Okay so i might be going through 2 surgeries…a nose surgery and the removing of my tonsils…I’m kinda scared…yet not too much. Can you guys give me a little info about what it might be like and what are the good sides to these prodedgeres please? I heard the removing of tonsils helps or may alter your voice. And if im getting surgery for example a deviated spectrum or something like that will it make my nose smaller? THANK YOU!
BTW: Will theese hurt? And wich one will probobly hurt the most?

Ok hon here’s whats going down,
I had my adenoids and tonsils out on sep 1 and i was sooo scared!
But i felt better to know my doctor was and A student…
My voice changed a little bit but no a whole lot just enough to not sound nasally. And what happened when i was there was the took me back to the operating room and put an Oxygen mask over my face that let out and anstesita medcine to make me go numb it felt like i had been droped in a big bottle of sprite( It also smelled like an old lady) the the gave me this stuff that smelled like watermelon to make me go to sleep. in less then 2 seconds i was asleep. then i woke up in the recovery room. My throat hurt from where my tonsils got taken out for about a week. Do you like yogurt? if you do i found out if you freeze the go gurt tubes and then eat the the make you throat feel a lot better.=) Then when it was al most done heeling and the scabs came off the back of my throat it felt like luggies in my throat.

I cant help you about the nose one, but I have had my tonsils out.
If you do have your tonsils out this is what happens…
You drive to the hospital on the day of surgery, and then you sign alot of papers. Next you are brought to a room where they will give you braclets that have your name on then and your surgeon ect. Then you are brought to this room where you are giving an IV and they put something on your finger to get your heart beat. Then you will be wheeld in your bed to the operating room and they will put you to sleep with anetiesthia. When the surgery is over they put you in recovery. I had my adnoids taken ou at the same time soi doubt it will be as bad as mine. But your throat will be very sore, and i wont lie it will hurt quiete a bit. But they give you alot of meds. THen your brought back to the room you started at, and you rest until you feel ok to leave. Thats it.
The pain was alot for more but if your not getting your adniods out, the pian will still be there but it wont be as severw.
