There is any relation between chronic tonsillitis (left tonsil) with HIV infection?

I got a tonsillitis three months ago, but my left tonsil is yet infected.

To have a HIV infection means that your immune system is low and you can get easily any infection, and even a common cold can be dangerous!
But if you have a tonsillitis and no any other underlying problems but still one of your tonsils in infected you probably need more antibiotic treatment to clear it up completly!
nnnot really, but UR tonsils are chronically infected so mostlikely ur dr will suggest that you have them removed.
