Symptoms of Tonsillitis?
I’ve been getting sore throats almost every other month, but recently I’ve been feeling way worse. I have a soar throat, it hurts like hell to swallow, my tonsils are larger, the back of my throat is mainly red with white beginning to form around it, I feel like I have a nasty cold with a runny nose/stuffy nose, and this may sound a bit strange but the roof of my mouth feels all waxy. Could that possibly be puss? I think I may have tonsillitis. In the past, I have also had some breathing difficulty. I was tested for asthma, and I didn’t have it. Could this possibly come from inflamed tonsils?

The main symptom of tonsillitis is a sore throat. However, other common symptoms that you may have include:
red and swollen tonsils,
pain on swallowing,
fever
coughing,
headaches,
tiredness,
pain in your ears, or neck,
white pus filled spots on your tonsils, and
swollen lymph nodes (glands) in your neck.
Less common symptoms of tonsillitis may include the following:
vomiting,
constipation,
a ‘furry’ tongue,
bad breath, and
difficulty opening your mouth.
Tonsillitis gives you inflamed tonsils with white pussy spots on them. It sounds like you have Strep throat or Mono to me. Either way, you need to see a doctor. Anything that doesn’t go away in a week or so by itself needs to be checked out. You need antibiotics or you will get worse. Gargle with salt water and Feel better!
