Strep Throat? Tonsillitis? Just a cold??? Flu??? What?
OK well.. i licked a bag that was in my purse and i guess my purse is very.. dirty (don’t ask why I did it i learned my lesson of being stupid) like 7 or 8 hours later my throat started to ..itch like i was getting a cold. The next morning my neck was like sore on the right when i swallowed and nose was stuffy .. and sneezed a couple times and coughed, and i think i had a fever because of the ..dizziness i guess? but after yesterday i stopped sneezing now im congested and it hurts to swallow but.. it doesn’t hurt alot just a slight pain or soreness if you will.. is it Allergies? Common Cold? Flu? Strep Throat? Tonsillitis? What do the symptoms look like ?? Should I see a Doctor?
Just checked: I cant see anything swollen .. Tonsillitis is out? and Strep?
No chills.. and my voice is leaving me …

First of all, what you licked in your purse has nothing to do with getting sick with your symptoms.
You could have all of the above, but you need to see an MD to make sure. Strep is very contagious. It does cause pain when swallowing.
The difference between a cold and the flu is a fever. Colds usually have no accompanying fever, but the flu does. If you have the chills, you have a fever.
Tonsilitis is a possibility. Take a flash light and look down your throat using a mirror, of course. Your tonsils will be 2 huge lumps, one on each side of the back of your throat. You can’t miss them.
Allergies? I doubt it.
Go see a doctor. You may need antibiotics if this is not just a cold.
It is probably just the common cold. It’s going around. If it gets worse seek a doctor but I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Take some over the counter cold/cough medicine and maybe some Tylenol. The Tylenol will bring down a fever if you have one. It could actually be the flu too….
No see me
To get rid of virus/bacteria like in your throat, drink some herb. I don’t remember the exact name, but you can ask your librarian about this book: God’s Medicine Is Best by Linda Wise. Read about flu or cold. You can drink any herb is safe, even if you not sure you can still take it to prevent any problems.
Allergies no. You wouldn’t have mainly a sore throat.
Tonsilitis no. You wouldn’t have been sneezing.
Common cold possibly. But if you have fever than no.
Flu? Very possible. If it is, no medicine will help. Its a virus and can’t be handled with antibiotics.
Strep throat? Very possible. If so, it sounds like your infection spread to your sinuses as well. That will have fever though, and it normally does need antibiotic if it spread to your sinuses. Sometimes strep will show up with white spots on your tonsils. The pain gets worse with drinking or eating sugary things.
Laryngitis may also be a possibly. Its a bacterial infection and can go away in time or be treated with antibiotic. Warm tea with honey and lemon is the best for that.
I would say give it a day or two, if you aren’t getting better and still are as bad if not worse, go see a doctor. If you are getting better, its probably just a bad bug that needs to run its course. As long as your fever isn’t over 102 and you’re not in terrible pain, you don’t need to rush to a doctor.
