Son has tonsil infection that keeps coming back?

My son has had an infection in his tonsils that keeps returning. We’ve been on three different antibiotics (first two for 10 days each, the third for 20 days). Each time the antibiotics helped the infection to go away (suggesting it’s bacterial) and two days ago his ENT doctor said he looks fine. That was two days ago, the infection is returning — I’ve watched the white puss-filled sacs return over the past day. The tests for strep and Epstein Barr came back negative. CAN ANYONE HELP? PLEASE!

My daughter had the same problem and they finally removed the tonsils. She has been fine now.
Yes his toenails will keep getting infested. It is a viral infection and there is no real long term cure. Take him to a Podiatrist, an ENT is ears, nose and throat specialist and knows little about feet or toe nails. I had all of my toenails removed because they kept getting infected. Don’t miss them at all!
