Repetitive Tonsil Infections!? Please Help!?

Im 18, and as far back as i can rememer, even as young as 8 years old, ive been plagued with throat infections. Maily my tonsils which become red and inflamed, sore, and also lumpy, sometimes white spots appear, sometimes not…. but regardless of what the type of infection, tonsilitis, strep throat, pus pockets… etc… i end up with a sore and infected throat at least 6 times a year. the doctors seem stumped. any help? thank you
oh, also, i do keep up on my oral hygeine. i dont think that has anything to do with it.

My son had the same problem, hes 10, last year after missing a lot of school every year, lasted at least 5-6 days at a pop i took him to a ent ( ear noes throat Doctor) they removed them last year in july what a difference this year no missing school barely at all and none because of throat infections. yours needed to come out a long time ago by the sounds go see a ent Dr…..
try getting a tonsilectomy. i know they dont really recommend them anymore, but it would really help.
Hey i had your problem sense i was 6 i got tonsilitis about every 6-8 weeks this when on for years until i was 21 when the dr finally gave me a referal to have my tonsils removed. Its been just over a year and for the past 6 mths i havnt had a throat infection at all. But i must say after having them removed i did still get throat infections once a month for about 6 months after the op. But everything is cleared now so maybe it might be worth having them removed
