Question about Tonsil and adenoid removal?

So on May 18 im getting my tonsils and adenoids removed. What can I expect before, during and after surgery(im 14 if that helps) and what are some ways to speed up the healing process? Thanks and GOD bless!

I had mine removed when I was 8 years old (about a century ago). You’ll have a sore throat for a few days, but it’ll heal pretty fast. You probably won’t feel like eating much for two or three days, but you should try to eat soft foods and drink plenty of liquids. Best of luck to you, and I wish you a speedy recovery.
bad water creates tonsil problems. drink bottled or boiled water.
