Post Tonsil Removal Question?

I had my tonsils removed january 5th and i was wondering if it was safe to drink beer/liquor today and if not, when.

That depends. Are you still on pain meds? If so, then definitely not, but if you can swallow without pain, I guess it’s ok. I wouldn’t drink the real hard stuff if I were you though. I had mine out when I was 17, I know what you’re going through. Good luck, Feel better.

noooo lol. I had my tonsils removed years ago and I couldnt have any alcohol for the month. Drink and eats lots of cold things. I lived off ice cream for so long and freezies. Once Feb hits you can have a beer.
Most likely it is safe, but refer to your surgeon’s instructions or give them a call to make sure. You should not be drinking alcohol while on any pain medication. I hope this helps.
