How many days should it take someone to recover from tonsil surgery? What I mean is that I’m thinking about getting my tonsils removed this Thanksgiving Break, which for me lasts from Wednesday to Sunday (5 days). I’m wondering whether this is good timing or not, since I’ll probably feel extremely dizzy and tired for at least a few days. I’ll also probably have a few tests right when we get back in school, so do you think I will be able to study during Thanksgiving Break after removing my tonsils? Thanks.
I’m 17 years old.

I get tonsil stones very often. I can get them out, but it’s a huge hassle. Is surgery to get my tonsils out worth it? If I get the surgery, what are the downsides? How expensive is the surgery?

So somebody in my class has tonsil infection and now I’m wondering how do people get them? Is it something they eat or what?

I’m pretty sure I have tonsil stones. I cough them up every now and then… they’re a nuisance.
My breath doesn’t seem to stink, and when I cough them up, they’re tiny.
I’ve tried looking in the mirror, and I can’t see any…
Should I just wait until I cough them out?

I am 30 years old and constantly producing tonsil stones, which are disgusting and a real inconvenience, since I’m always trying to scrape them out and make my throat bleed. Now, they don’t hurt, but I am really tired of the situation. I went to an ENT who said the only solution was having the tonsils removed, but also told me it would be the absolute worst pain imaginable. I don’t have much tolerance for pain and am really scared to do this. I’d appreciate any advice/thoughts. The doctor said I’d be out of work for 2 weeks, and that it’s much worse than having wisdom teeth removed. Thanks.
