I’ve been taking the antibiotic for 2 days now with no change in symptoms. How long will it be before the symptoms disappear?

When I say easily, I mean not getting my tonsils taken out or going to the doctor.

Sorry i can’t show a picture because the lighting doesn’t work right and it won’t show my tonsils. But pretty much they aren’t swollen or anything but it kind of looks strange because there seems to be spots/skin missing from them and around the spots are like a outline of white. It looks like little craters in my tonsils. Plus i’ve had them like this for a year now but do i have an infection? And also i smoke (not a pack a day but a few cigs each day) if that matters.

i don’t have a vocal coach but i am in choir and i want my voice to get better my choir teacher says that i am a tenor but i sang for my friend and she says i’m a soprano i just need tips on how to extend ny vocal range.

Okay so i need to get my tonsils removed. Can someone run me threw the proses,how long your in the hospital, how long it takes to heal, if it hurts, and any risks. I would love if you could tell me as much about it as you can.

OK, about three days ago, I came home from a sleepover. My throat started to really hurt, like when I coughed I was in total agony. My voice was wobbly (kept going higher suddenly then lower), my nose was bright red and running, I was sneezing like crazy. I could only breathe out of one nostril. I have trouble swallowing food and drink. I felt incredibly tired for no reason. I asked my two friends, one having suffered tonsillitis six times and the other one, they checked my throat (swollen), and looked into my mouth. Are these the symptoms of tonsillitis? Easy ten points for an answer?
Also, my forehead is quite warm, not burning, just hotter than usual, and this morning I had stabbing pains in the bottom right side of my stomach. My friends said my tonsils weren’t swollen.

I love picking them out of my tonsils. It feels great once you’ve removed them.

I also take the size of the stones as a reflection of the manhood of my tonsils.

So, I’ve got tonsil stones.
Yeah, I’ve googled around and I’ve looked at certain remedies, but most of them seem to involve blindly poking your hand around inside your throat. Needless to say, I’m not eager to do that.

Is there anything I can gargle with to dislodge them? I’ve had them for about 4 days now. They aren’t giving me bad breath, but I just can’t stand the feeling in my throat.

I had strep throat about two months ago. since that time my one tonsil has been puffy. I took antibiotics and finished all of them, but this weekend I was poking at the tonsil with a q-tip and pushed really hard on it and it exploded Puss. I don’t have a fever, It doesn’t hurt, No glands are sore. Do Tonsils just hold puss? why woudn’t I feel like it was infected. Should I have the tonsil removed, or just call the doc for different antibiotics?

I always have tonsillitis and am hopefully having them out soon. I am really worried though. Has anyone had the procedure done and offer any reassurance? I am quite scared!
