Need help not sure if its tonsil stones ?

My mate gets this weird white lump he coughs up every few months or so it smells a bit yucky aswel could it be tonsil stones or is it something else and is it like normal?

sounds like tonsil stones to me.
its fairly normal. many people get tonsil stones.
tonsil stones are just little pieces of food that get stuck in the crypts of the tonsils instead of going down the throat.
sounds like its not all that bothersome for him since it only happens once in a while.
they aren’t harmful at all but they can be EXTREMELY annoying.
i would get them every couple days and finally after 9yrs i decided to have my tonsils removed.
