is it ok to smoke weed one week before a tonsil removal surgery ?

i’m planning on quitting a week before the surgery and i just wanted to know if that would be ok . but with my surgery i’m not getting only local anesthesia i’m getting knocked out because of my circumstances .

If your getting knocked out, no point.
After they are removed, ask the person who did it (If its ok to smoke at all) if he says no, than don’t, if he says yeah than why not?
Weed is not bad for you, plus it would get rid of the pain.
Quit asap!
