Is it normal to outwait your tonsillitis infection?

1st time I get this infection, and I believe its acute, only on the right tonsil, minimum swelling, minimum pain, more of a bother really, I can wait it out right? (I’ve had it for about day so far…)

i always had to get antibiotics till i got my tonsils taken out
well why dont you go to the doctor and see what they say. we cant really tell how bad it is until you do. i doubt they are going to take out your tonsils after only having it once.
NO! you can’t wait out the infection, It can get worse and spread. It takes antibiotics to kill the infection.
GOD is first. You are next. On this premise, you must consider how important you are. There is "no waiting" that you can do. This is why the Lord put you in different "situations" so that you would learn things. As long as you don’t "overdo" yourself, antibiotics will be helpful in abating a tremendous amount of infections. Of course, this is the decision of you and your "trusted" doctor. Depends, I have mine swell painfully, and still got them, they only do it once in a while. If it last more then a week, re think it. Your not me, I know my body. Only a doctor can tell you..
