How will pain from tonsil removal surgery be?

not to bad you can handle it at your age.besides they give you lots of ice cream.
I didn’t know they still removed tonsils (unless it was absolutely necessary)! I guess since you asked you are having it done.
When mine were removed (seems many moons ago) I was a child (maybe 6/7). It’s hard to judge my pain threshold then vs now. What I do recall was that it felt like a bad case of "Strep-throat" afterwards, which would make sense considering they just cut something out. It does heal pretty quickly.
I had mine out when I was 11. It was like a bad sore throat. Be sure to follow the doctor’s advice and eat soft foods.
