The incubation period (the period between picking up the infection and symptoms starting to appear) for tonsillitis is usually between 2-4 days. So if you have caught it you won’t have any symptoms yet.
You won’t necessarily get tonsillitis
If you were both drinking alcohol then it’s far more likely that rather than having tonsillitis, your friend has swollen tonsils and a sore throat as a result of dehydration and smoking hundreds of cigarettes. If he/she really does have it then you may get it too but it’s not a certainty.
ive got it this second. on high dose penicillin and i feel like shyte. just hope u dont get it mate. my first signs were a slight sore throat on one side and sensitive skin. next morning had a temp of 39 degrees C and felt rough as fuk! throats now killing and covered in black and white spots. good luck fella
about 2 days. Tonsillitis is describing red/swollen tonsils. andur tonbsils get red and swollen due to an infection.
