How long is the hospital stay for tonsil surgery?

How long do you stay in the hospital for tonsil surgery. I am finding out that I will be having my tonsils taken out within a month or so.

Usually you just stay for a short recovery period (2-6 hours) as long as the surgery goes without complications. If you did have to stay longer I’m sure it would just be overnight. My brother ate a lot of ice cream after he got his out! Good luck! Hope this helps! =)
it is a day surgery the older you get the harder it is but TRUST me I havent had any strep or any of that its great!!
