I’ve been taking the antibiotic for 2 days now with no change in symptoms. How long will it be before the symptoms disappear?

24-72hrs is about the normal amount of time . Some people will start to feel better in the first 24hrs. Hope you get well soon
It takes any antibiotic about 72 hours to reach a theraputic blood level where it is killing the germs. You should start feeling gradually better and better starting about day 4.
your symptoms may be caused by a virus & that’s why you don’t notice a difference -penicillin only works on bacteria! take your meds exactly as prescribed, treat your symptoms, rest, wash your hands well, drink plenty of fluids, and follow up with your doctor.
