how cn i tell if i have tonsillitis?

how can i truly tell i have tonsillitis. i have a few symptoms but i’m not sure. i can’t go to the doctor right now because it’s the weekend and i don’t want to go to the e.r to ask. i have all the symptoms but no fever. how can i tell between strep throat and tonsilitis

I have had it maybe 3 times.
Its not something hard to tell. Simply if u swallow even just your saliva, it should feel like something is in the way in your throat.
U can even see it in the mirror for yourself. Get in front of a mirror with a flash light, open your mouth wide and inhale, & it will expose your tonsil. It should look a bit abnormal. Naturally it supposed to dangle but instead it shuld look like the right or left side area of your throat area is wider. Almost as if the tonsil has attatched to the side. Not great. What will cure it? ginger. But ofcourse, like any american we preffer sweet or tasteful medicine, & that isnt the way to go. Most bitter medicine’s R actually the ones tat work & not diluted with sweets to make u want to have more. so thats all i can advise for those really want to cure an illness, tru medicine is the way to go, Not strawberry flavored things. If u cant take the heat then next best thing u can try for tonsils being swollen is Theraflu lemon. & whenever u are sick, remember 1 thing. Eat a meal often. When people r sick is when they dont have appetite, but thats the trick u have to force it. Thats all folks. Remember that & u wont be sick for long periods.
When I was 11 I had tonsillitis and had my tonsils removed. I was always getting strep throat and my tonsils were practically touching each other.

I went to the docter on friday (he was rubbish) he said i have virus but he dno what kind so me andmy dad are sat there like WHATT??
Anywhos i strongly belive i have tonsillitis. Check your pulse make sure its normal but if its beating quick it means there sumat there and its fighting it off. Mines racing! The best thing to do is eat lots of ice pops!! It will help cool it down!!
