HELP HAD TONSIL SURGERY?

Ok,I just had tonsil surgery because my tonsils wher to big and air was not functioning well when I was asleep and they said one day you are not going to get air when your sleeping and die.I did the surgery.First day not that much pain,im on my secound day and god it hurts more then dieing slowly.Please help me what can i do to take the pain away fast?Everytime i swallow it hurts SO BAD.I cannon eat i only drink water,please help me what should i do to take the pain away fast please help me!By the way,I am 14 years old and im on my day 2 out of 10 of what my doctor said.

Sorry to tell you, but the next few days are probably going to increase your pain. Your throat will hurt and you will have limited food options. Drink gaterorade and take the pain meds your doctor provided. It will really help. In the long run it will be so much better, but you will not to be able to continue your normal diet for a while (for my sister it was 2 weeks) .

Try eating ice cream or frozen yogurt. It helps. And try cough drops like strong ones that make your mouth really numb to help.
