Anyhow heres my story: I was about 78 kgs and reasonably healthy before problems reoccured (I mentioned reoccured because you usually have to have a history of throat issues b4 they will remove them during adulthood) at my worst, i was 70-71 kgs and not looking well b4 my operation, i was told i must bring my weight back up to 78 so i ate as much as I can and my family force fed me some more i succeeded in returning to 78 had the operation and even tho i didnt eat much for approximately 2 weeks after surgery, i didnt budge off 78kg. within a month after that, i went straight up 86kg Turns out my body was using alot of energy fighting this bug for so long, that it didnt know what to do with the normal intake of food (no more forced meals). so i put on weight not everyone is going to be the same, but hope that helps Also, stay away from pineapple after surgery.
