Could red bumps all over tongue be sign of tonsillitis?

Everyone in my family has been sick, I’ve been taking lots of airborne and zicam to fight it..I feel pretty good except for a head ache and red bumps all over my tongue, could this be a symptom of tonsillitis or strep?
I got my tonsils out as well as my adnoids a long time ago.

how bout strep?
Possibly as it is caused by the same bacteria that causes strep throat.
If you have a flash light, go up to the mirror and shine it in your mouth. If the back of your tongue is coated and your tonsils are red and like golf balls, then you have it. Go to the doctor soon.
