These are my symptoms, day-by-day: (Im a young teen btw)
Friday: I woke up and I had pain when swallowing. Keep in mind, on Thursday I just had a friend come over and we didn’t do anything much; but she wasn’t sick. On Friday, I drank a lot of water and I didn’t feel the pain when swallowing as much. Later, it came back.

Saturday: Same thing as yesterday. I wake up with a headache and pain with swallowing. it lasted throughout the day, except when I was under the influence of tylenol. I felt sickly in some parts of the day. When I went in the pool, I felt better; then later it came back.

Today (Sunday)- I had trouble sleeping, and when I woke up I couldn’t speak without making strange noises; but I could whisper. I went into my mom’s room and she said it was most likely larangytis. It was hell, hell, hell for a couple of hours. I could barely speak. Then a couple hours after I woke up, I could just barely speak in a normal voice.
For breakfast I had toast, water, and some bacon. After breakfast, I gargled with warm water & salt, and then had a Vitamin C pill. I can still just barely talk in a normal voice. Then, my Mom and I became concerned that it may be tonsilitis. My mom looked at my tonsils and saw something different from my healthy sisters tonsils. I will try to get a picture. There weren’t enormous white dots, but she thought it may have been small white dots. it could’ve also been saliva reflecting because of the flashlight.

I’m a 26 year old male and I get tonsilitis alot and am having them removed soon…I have noticed that this recent bout is different form any other i have had as I dont have fever, headache, musle pains or night sweats….My left tonsil i large and is so enlarged it is touching the roof of my mouth…I have pain swallowing.

someone please help I cant find anything that matches these symptoms on the net.

I have a fear about being sick (vomiting) and when i feel sick i panic because i really really don’t like vomiting. Is there anything i can do that can stop me from feeling sick or anything i can do to try and calm myself down?
At the moment i have tonsillitis, is feeling sick a symptom?

Hey all, I threw up this morning and my period is due in about 2 weeks give or take a few days. Anyway, I just got over tonsillitis and I never felt sick to my stomach with that just my throat and nose were stuffed. But now a few days after my antibiotics are finished my nose is getting stuffy again but, like allergies nothing like when I had tonsillitis…anyway I woke up this morning got ready and then on our way to breakfast I had the feeling of I am going to throw up…we pulled over on the freeway and I did but, it was just like water and a really little I had nothing in my stomach either. I took a vitamin this morning then 10 mins after I threw up (pulled over on freeway) Not sure if the vitamin made me throw up or not…so now I am putting one and one together and well I didn’t miss my period last month it was just 3 days. I am on birth control and just started it 2 periods ago…and I am not sure if my breasts are sore because of my period being due in 2 weeks from today but, its in 2 weeks and they started hurting about 6 days ago so almost 3 weeks before my period. and they still are tender to touch and when I put on a bra my boobs are so sore! I just know that they are tender to touch right under my armpit area. I am a Full B small C and the past 2 weeks I went up to a Full C to a small D. They feel heavy but, I didnt know since this is like PMS symptoms too…it sucks…I guess I should add to this is that I still am not feeling good at all…I have that feeling like I am going to throw up…again… :[

So what I am asking is this too early to actually get these symptoms?

I am taking a test on my period due date or if I miss it then obviously right after my week of the missed period. It is due on the second of Sept.

My boyfriend and I had sex like a few times after my period…about 1-2 ago…so it may be to early for that but, we had sex also about 1 week before my period was due meaning 2 weeks after my last period in July…so maybe it is symptoms if it is them in fact maybe I am further along then I think?? My mom keeps joking about it because, she was with me this morning and was like are you pregnant?

Do birth control pills make you bleed?? I wonder…Any help would be great thanks all!

I’m pretty sure I have tonsillitis. It’s been about 4 days now since the symptoms started, and it’s getting worse each day
I read viral infections usually clear up on their own but bacterial require antibiotics. How can I tell which one I have?

Ok so I think I might have tonsillitis because my tonsils seem swollen and red and I have a few of the symptoms just not all. But I don’t want to tell my mom because I’m supposed to spend the weekend with my friends in Orlando and I don’t wanna ruin that. But on the other hand I’m getting my wisdom teeth out Monday morning and if I tell my mom when I get home Sunday night and I end up having it I don’t want that to effect my surgery. And plus I don’t wanna be miserable on my trip or get anyone sick…. what should I do?? Is there anything I can do to make it better?

Well this morning I woke up with a splitting headache and that was 1 hour ago. I also woke up with a really bad sore throat too. AND this morning I woke up and I felt like I had to throw up. Do you think this is tonsillitis?

Over the past few weeks, I have been french kissing someone and after i developed a small white sore on my right tonsil and around that general area and one similar on the middle of my lingual frenulum . I also have an unknown medium sized white thing on my left tonsil. Recently, I feel as if there is something in my throat. I’m worried.I think it could be either herpes or something similar and I haven’t ruled out tonsillitis. I have not developed any cold sores on my mouth and none of the sores except the one i had on my lingual frenulum were painful, however none of them ever itched. I think that they could be recurring. Also would continuing to kiss this same person cause the symptoms to recur because after i kiss them i feel as if my throat is burning or sore? Recently, i have felt a burning sensation on the left corner of my mouth
When i apply hydrogen peroxide it cause them to foam and they come off when i touch them with a q-tip.

I had unprotected vaginal sex with an escort girl. I did not notice any sorts of infection on her body, but of course i cannot be completely sure. Though I see myself as a smart person about HIV statistics, it was still so much incredibly dumb thing to do, so i have noone to blame other than myself. 5 days later I walked in the cold and extremely windy weather for like an hour. on the 6th day, i felt fever and sore throat. I went to doctor, he told me I had tonsillitis and gave me antibiotics. Now (8th day) the pain in my throat is almost gone, though white spots can still be seen. there is healing due to antibiotics perhaps.

However, the thing that scares me to death is I read the early symptoms of HIV include fever and sore throat, so I do not really know if my condition is due to weather, or due to exposure to HIV.

I even contacted the girl via e-mail yesterday, and she told me I can be 10000% sure she does not have any STDs, because she tests regularly, and she is a mother which is a good reason for her to be healthy. i want to believe her but this does not help me.

I cannot also get the Elisa test, because I know it is very early to take the test.
I feel so much desperate for this, and I wanted to see if anybody here could tell me more.
Please don’t remind me how stupid I was, because that’s maybe the only thing at the moment I know for certain.
