I just got my tonsils out and wanted to (maybe) get a tattoo and my ears pierced for sure but idk if i have to wait a certain amount of time. I wont do it until i feel better but are there health risks if i do it too close to after surgery?

my son who is 2 yrs old just had his tonsils and adnoids removed and tubes put in his ears, it was on monday and here it is friday and he is running a temp and ears are still bleeding and he has a cold on top of all of this and i haven’t been able to give him anything for the cold cause im afraid what it might do to him,he is drinking like a fish and eating well, when they removed his tonsils they were full of infection twice the size they were is that a factor in him not still feeling well still?

I’m going to have breast implant surgery and I’m scared to death to go under because I’m afraid I wont wake up to see the results. I’m scared that I might have some sickness that I didn’t know about prior to surgery and wont wake up, or something going wrong. I had my tonsils out when I was 19 and I remember waking up crying and not knowing where I was.

I just got my tonsils and adenoids out.. I got my surgery done Wednesday.. I am still hurting and the food and drinks I eat and drink go to the back of my throat. Any medicine or any way I can get better faster?

i have a tonsil stone way in the back of my tonsil and every time i try to pick it out i have a gag reflex, anyone know a easier way how to get it out?

Hey guys.. so I was just wondering if surgery can mess up the timing and cycle of your period? I had my tonsils out on august 13th and I got it period august 18th and now it hasn’t come for this month.. i’ve had sex twice but both times were with a condom.. I’ve been freaking out could it be the nerves and surgery that’s making it come later? If so how long will my cycle be altered?

hello, i’m 16 years of age and i’m extremely terrified of operations as when i was younger i had a major operation to save my life. now im scared if anything will go wrong. i’m getting my tonsils out the beginning of next year and i’m extremely anxious. so please answer some of these questions to help me;
- will i be sick after the operation?
- how long is the operation?
- how often does your throat tend to bleed after?
- how many days does it take to fully recover?
- have you got any tips?

I’m having my tonsils and adenoids removed on Friday (kind of late in life I guess, but they never troubled me as a kid) and I’ve never had surgery before.

I notice on those reality surgery shows though that they always shake the person and force them to wake up afterward though. Will they do this to me?
