One of my tonsils has been bigger than the other for atleast 6 months. My throat is not sore at all, but when I push on my tonsil a build up of white stuff squeezes out of my tonsil. It builds up again over the next couple of days, and then It squeezes out again. It tastes really bad and gives me bad breath. Im pretty sure its not tonsilitis because its been happening over 6 months and doesnt hurt at all. Any ideas on what this is

After getting dust blown into my face, I developed a sinus infection very quickly. Tonight I looked in my throat with a flash light and saw tiny bumps on my tonsil, piled on there going downward into my throat. Almost look like little warts. There is no film on them, they are flesh colored and it does feel sore in that spot. Any ideas?
they are flesh colored, the same color as the tonsils themself, and my husband and I are each other’s first, and we don’t do oral stuff.

She says its red and swollen with lots of pain. She ate a popsicle and the pain was lessened. Any idea of what she could have? Its been bugging her for about a week now. There arent any strange bumps below her skull to indicate that there is an infection.
The left side of her neck is swollen also.

Is it because they get infected or something? Are tonsil infections incurable?

as i previously told you that my 5 year old girl always gets long infections and that happen overnight in one day – today her nose starts to run and sore trought the next day she’s got very bad lungs she’s using everything she can – nubilizers allergy medicine but it always happen and every 3 week she must go to the doctor to get some antibiotics i don’t now what to do anymore isn’t it better to take out her tonsils?

Tonsil issues.. Annoying! Tiny white spots.?
Ok, so about 14 days ago i was put on amoxicillin for a "sinus" infection. (Long standing). I had a sore throat and a cough with yellow phlegm etc etc.

However i finished these 10 day antibiotics around 4 days ago. And again in have a slight irritated throat. And a few white dots. Rather than spots as they are very small and approx 5-6 on one and maybe 3 on the other one,. The left one is quite swollen but pink and not "red".

I have tried to remove these with a cotton bud and my tonsil bled as soon as it was touched. Im assuming its a tonsil infection.
So i was thinking if i had any "problems" Wouldn’t the antibiotics have solved this? I know They wouldn’t touch a virus but this has been going on for about 5 weeks now. And it comes and goes.

Its getting really annoying now. It is the weekend as we know so no doctors till monday. I brush, rinse, floss very regularly so dont know what to do next? Any ideas??
Also last week i had tiny pin pricky red spots on the roof of my mouth..

I am a 35 year old healthy adult woman. On Tuesday I woke up with a sore throat. By 4:30 I was in bed with a fever, chills, body aches, and the worst sore throat ever! (FYI – I don’t have tonsils) My lymph nodes in my neck are all very swollen and tender to the touch. I was completely miserable and in a lot of pain. Wednesday, I went to the doctor. He said I probably had a strep infection, and did a culture to be sure. He put me on 500mg of Amoxicillian every 8 hours. That was over 24 hours ago. My throat is KILLING me and my lymph nodes are still very swollen and painful. I’ve been popping 800mg Motrin and Darvocet for pain…but neither is giving me much relief. Should I be worried? How much longer am I going to have to suffer???

Okay, more specific, daughter is getting surgery to remove tonsils but over the years I’ve heard they will not operate if an infection is present or if one is sick. I realize the infections are the reason for the surgery but thanks for the reply. lol.

Because my tonsils are really swollen and lumpy on one side and they really hurt. Will the Levaquin the dr gave me for the sinus and ear infection help with the throat as well? She didn’t say anything about it yesterday, but it didn’t hurt as much then, I was mainly focused on the fact that my ears and sinuses hurt…

tonsil and sinus surgery at nose already done. but still I have throat pain and sinus headache. I am affecting more with cold. if i take any cold item immediately affecting my throat and head.
