I have a tonsil infection and a slight ear infection. I have been taking antibiotics. I feel okay right now but not 100 percent . I’m having knee surgery in one day. Do I need to cancel it? I don’t want to because my knee really hurts.

I have had a sore throat for the last couple of days, and it started getting worse last night so this morning I went to the doctors. Also been feeling blocked up on and off, and got headache. Someone at work has been coughing for three days, and complaining of a bad throat too. I went to docs and she asked me a couple of questions, looked at my throat and said it’s a viral throat infection, my one tonsil is more enlarged than the other, and my throat is very red and sore. She also said she couldn’t give me anything for it, but to gargle aspirin. Now I am not the best at gargling, and although took aspirin once today I had a little stomach ache after. I have decided to buy soluble paracetamol tomorrow instead. Just wondering if there’s anything else I can do to stop pain, and generally feeling rough? Already got the antibacterial hand gel out and been trying to wash my hands often, so the family don’t catch it.

I met this guy about 2 months and we got on really well and we kissed, about 2 days later I had tonsillitis, I met him last weekend and we kissed again and now I have swollen glands and white bumps on my tonsils but its not as bad as the last time.. I only ever kissed him twice and both times I got throat problems, do you think he has something? Obviously im not going to kiss him again..

I went to the doctor and he said I had some sinus infection, or nasal drip. He prescribed me nasonex. When I took it for the first time last night it seemed to work for me to get passed the irritation and for me to get to sleep. But can someone answer my question ? I forgot to ask the doc. Btw I’m on vaca so it was alot of money to see him. I don’t wanna go back.

I’m 17 and right now I have some sort of bacterial infection on my tonsils. They’re swollen and have greenish stuff all over them. My pediatrician told me to really consider getting them removed b/c they’re so big. Other pediatricians have told me that I should ever since I was little. Almost every time I get sick they get really swollen but this is probably the worst they’ve ever been. So what should I do? What do they do when they remove your tonsils? How painful is it?

My doctor is going to call me in some Amoxicillin for a tonsil infection. Is this safe to take while TTC and using Clomid? I would have asked but I missed the call from the nurse and it is impossible to reach them on the phone.

Girl friend just had a tonsil infection. The General Doctor ordered a Blood test to see if she had rheumatic heart disease. She came back with a score of 200. I have been on the internet looking. Can’t really find a base line for comparison.

i might have a yeast infection so i thought about buying the 7 day cream to get rid of it. i just remembered that i am taking medication for my tonsils. one is to heal the infection on my tonsil and one is to reduce fevers. does this mean i can’t use the 7 day cream?

Is it possible for the pain to be related to the tonsils taken out? I’ve gotten no fever, nothing.
