Can doctors find out you have been smoking, during a tonsil removal surgery?

Im really young to be a smoker, but i dont want anyone to know especially my familly, so i want to know would the doctors be able to find out i have been smoking

They can probably find out through other indicators… but then again, your doctors aren’t allowed to tell your parents anything without your permission, so you don’t really have to worry about it.
