they have effected the quality of my voice and I cant sing as well cause I loose my voice alot -or atleast I believe they are the cause of this – will getting my tonsils removesd help my voice or is there something I can do to make the tonsil stones go away -please only answer if you know what they are or have them your self -they happen to be very common though most people have them and dont know it -I didn’t know what they were until four years ago mayself but ahad wondered for years- Please help if you know what I can do about them – they are getting out of control -I sometimes spit out 5 to 10 a week !!!

I was told its sulfer build ups in crevices inside your tonsils- and yes they are gross and smell like a funky mineral smell -I have done alot of what the website ssuggest to do but nothing seems to work -Help!!

Ok. My throat been feeling a lil sore and this happened to me before but I thought it was minor maybe like a sore throat. But today, my teacher was like your throat feels swollen/inflamed and she said maybe you need to get your tonsils removed. I was like ‘Oh’. And just right now i told my mom that i need to get my tonsils removed and she’s like OMGosh and stuff. My mom is and from Carribean, and she doesn’t know anything about going to the doctor except vaccine and her stuff she be dealing with. And she’s like ‘oh i have to take you to the Emergency Room. and i’m like ‘NOOo i just have to go to a regular doctor. She’s just blowing things out of proportions

I have two older siblings a sis and a bro, and i ask her (mom) have you ever tooken them to the doctor for tonsils removal and she’s like no.

Sorry for making this soo long all i want to know is: Do i really have to go to the ER or should i go to my regular doctor? and having tonsil removal does it hurt?? and do you really eat ice cream all the time in the healing process?!

By the way im 14 and my older siblings are in their mid and late twenties.

one tonsil is bloody and blistery and hard like a rock. i have a slight fever and its painful and i feel a lot a discompfort:( what could be wrong…

Doctor can’t see me until Friday (meh) so what should I be doing to help it until then?
I know its tonsillitis because I can’t swallow anything and i have pus on my tonsil and tongue.
All the other symptoms (weakness, drowsy, back pain, headache) went away all ready.
Is there a way to ease my throat pain? What should i be eating (that wont kill me dead). What drugs should i be taking?

Someone told me that if you clean your tonsil stones, that it just makes them grow in intensity. I’ve tried to find info about this, and have found none. Has anyone else heard this?

Whats goo to eat the day before and the days after…Im 28years old, and we all know about Ice cream, but i heard popsicles are better and not too have ice cream with milk, sorbet better?

They’re the little white things you find stuck in your tonsils. I’m not really sure what causes it only that it’s the MOST HORRIFYING THING TO GO THROUGH BECAUSE THEY STINK, LITERALLY!!!! (I’ve read that it’s caused from a sinus infection)

Anyone else go through this?
