I have been having tonsil stones come up about once a week for the past two years and they are becoming a problem. I am 13 years old and I was just wondering if maybe a tonsillectomy is right for me.

my tonsils are swollen all the time and been thinking of getting them taken out but what are the effects of this is there more good then bad? A doctor once told me the reason they are always swollen is because my sinuses are always dripping on them, that’s another thing my sinuses are always congested. Is there something that will make my sinusis better there for not making my tonsil swollen all the time? Open to all ides opinion, etc. TIA
im 22 years old

Like a home remedy that doesn’t hurt that much. I have seen numerous sites that say there is a magical cure and I want everyone to know. Then they try to get you to buy a book from them. What is a good way. Not like poking or squeezing. I have a very sensitive gag reflex.

Maybe a silly question…
My toddler has a rash all over his body, has a high temperature (over 40C at times) and a red ear. We took him to the doctors this morning and were referred to hospital to see a pediatrician who after looking at his throat said he has tonsillitis and that the rash looks viral. We’ve been given some throat spray and told to keep giving him Calpol to keep his temperature down.
So is tonsillitis the cause of the problem (rash, fever, loss of appetite etc)? Or just another symptom of having a virus?
