i got mine taken out just yesterday, and the doctors said i was a perfect patient i didn’t have any signs of blood after surgery and i didn’t feel any ear pains i woke up like how i would wake up to a sore throat. so i was perfectly fine but when i got home i started to have the urge to cough cause i think i feel mucus in the back of my throat but i still haven’t coughed even though i want to. so please, answer my question
is it really painful?
how long before you can eat properly?
how long until its not sore?
They’ve been there for weeks, and now they’re starting to impede my swallowing. I can’t stand having them there, but my gag reflex keeps me from just scraping them out. Is there any way I can remove them without seeing the doc? That seems like an arduous process…
My CT Scan shows Maxillary sinus towards left side of the nose. Also A deviated nasal septum. Although I never Feel any pain anywhere on the face. Apart from Once in 6 mnths for about 2-3 hrs pressure in my left eye and cheek. The only problem with me is bad breath (chronic), no swollen tonsils, but daily I have those tonsil stones in my throat which smell really bad. Can someone suggest me a treatment or is surgery the only option. Also, is Deviated septum the cause of maxillary sinus. I never have any other complication related to throat. NO Pain at all.
Thanks for the clarification needed, I meant blocked maxially sonus, .And my concern is whether are they all associated to each other and main concern is about getting rid od halitosis
Well, I have a doctor’s appointment in 2 weeks, but I’m one of those people that when somethings wrong with me, I always freak out and think I’m dying. Anyway, I don’t have a sore throat or anything, but the past 2 weeks, a gland or lymph node has been swollen in my neck, right under my right ear, my friend told me it was my jugular because when I feel it, I can "feel" my pulse. I thought your jugular was in front of the neck, I don’t know. Then today, I looked at my tonsils and they look swollen with red dots on them. I’m just freaking out really bad, I feel like Vada from My Girl. Can someone please let me know what this might be? Thanks.
Hi I’m 17 and have been bugged by my tonsils for a few years now. They are abnormally large and irritate me regularly, as silly as it is its restricting the amount of food and drink I can intake in one go (which is alot less than other people) without my eyes watering or sometimes even gagging does anyone know how much it costs to have your tonsils and uvula removed entirely? are there any risks? ive attempted to research but found nothing please help
