I have white clumps attached to my tonsils, and every once and a while I cough them up. What can I do to get rid of them? Are they causing my bad breathe as well?

We booked a holiday to visit my family in the US (for the first time in 3 years) months ago. My husband is now signed off work ill while he waitds for his toncils to be taken out. The toncil infection makes him very tired, so he cannot be at work, but he can go to visit family. He is afraid that even though the holiday has been booked for months and is during his annual leave, that work will see it as gross misconduct if he goes to visit family. The holiday is not an exausting adventure, we are just going to stay with my mom in america for a week and a half. If we cancel, we loose £800 and we don’t know when the next time we will be able to visit my family is, Should we cancel or should we go?

I recently discovered a small, white, cold-sore looking bump on one of my tonsils. A few days ago I orange juice and vodka and threw up twice afterward. I was wondering if this could be the cause of the bump. If not, what could be the causes? What are the treatments? Is this a long-term illness or can it be easily treated?
I read a lot of articles/forums of people with a similar problem and the majority spoke a lot on tonsiliths and tonsil stones. I’m hoping for a more in-depth response. Thankyou!

my right tonsil is enlarged and that’s where i had a tonsil stone.

i have tonsil stones how do you get rid of them with out going to the doctor or buying something?

what tonsil disease is it, where the tonsils have to be cut out because of severe infection and enlargement??

It hurts when i sneeze, yawn, swallow and open my mouth to like talk..

but he says my throat is only a little red and i shouldn’t worry while it’s still at early stages and it could go away..

but he never said it could be tonsillitis.. so i don’t know.
i’m confused.. because my throat is absolutely killing me..

I get tonsil stones all the time and I am always fooling with them, digging for them and its really anying and they give you bad breath. Does anyone know how to get rib of them???

Is it normal to be constantly coughing when you have a tonsil infection

I currently have a tonsil stone and am doing the usual gargling with salt water. This is the slower way of doing it, though. Do you have any other suggestions. I had one before and was able to get it out with a q-tip but it took a lot of precision. This time I’d rather do something that won’t possibly set off my gag reflexes.
