I’ve had tonsillitis for about over a month. For about a week or two I had some usual symptoms like sore throat and painful swallowing but they all went away. Now for the past week or two all I’ve had is this white patch on one of my tonsils, it doesn’t look like its gotten swollen or anything. I’ve tried lime juice but I don’t think it really helped. Is there anything else I can do? can it go away by itself? or should I just go see a doctor?

My sisters little boy had his tonsils and adenoids removed Friday, well since then he has been running fever, Last night he woke up screaming and crying and he was soaking wet, this just doesn’t sound normal to me. Is it normal to run fever this many days after the procedure? Whats your experiences?

ENT specialist an am getting further treatment but nothin has worked yet. ive had this for 1 and1/2 yrs .i clean my teeth well twice a day, floss, use a listerine mouthwash and chew gum regulary. i thought it was my teeth but it isnt. as i went to my dentist and my teeth n gums are fine. i often get this burning sensation in the back of my throat, but i dont eat any sugary sweets or drinks that usually cause this, so does any1 no what this is? the doc thought i was acid reflux so i wen on tablets once a day for 8 wks but it made no diiference. i also was on nasule droplets for 4 wks, as my doc thought it cud be to do with my sinuses, but also no differenc. i get these white things from the back of my throat, which i tink may be tonsil stones but my doc also says that no medication can actualy prevent these, and i dont get them regulary anyway and my doc says getting my tonsils removed will make no differnece. so plz can any1 help me? it causes bad breath ALL the time-its gettin me down
i went to my actually doctor and they had no idea so im at a specialst but its privite and it costs. ive said how much its bothering me but no1 seems to listen. they just say take these tablets and see if they work and then come back in 4 wks. but if they dont work, im stuck with the problem still, which they dont seem to understand. im starting reduce socially, and am not going out as much and i dont have many friends because i know i have bad breath. im starting to get depressed
no, i dont eat many spicy foods and have tried everything to prevent it, lke cutting out all the foods that can cause bad breath lke onion, garlic, coffee, alcohol etc. the doc says if it was my stomach, the acid reflux would have worked but they didnt make any difference. to make matters worse, im only 16, and its realy preventing me going out and having fun.
do allergies cause bad breath though? i hadnt thought of that so thanks. has any1 ever had these symptoms, i thought mine was just lke chronic bad breath

Are tonsil stones bad for you and they do go away by themselves?
Also, are there things i can do to get rid of them?

It seems that when I have acid pressure my right tonsils got a feeling of tension in it.

I don’t understand what is my condition if it’s either a tonsillitis or sore throat…….whew!So confused hey friends…..a.k.a. yahooo users please help me and also put their symptoms each of it!

By healthy I mean no icecreams and puddings and jellows etc… I want foods to actually substitute for meals.. so far I got

V8
Tapioka pudding
Kraft Dinner (not healthy, but its a meal)
cottage cheese
mashed potatoes

Any more ideas?

All the sites that are titled "strep throat vs tonsillitis" show me both have the same symptoms, all I want to know what the difference between the two are.
