I am having my tonsils, adenoids, and sinus surgery on Thursday and I am 28 years old. I have heard the older you are the more painful it is! I also would like to know how long does the surgery usually take? I have a lot of health problems and I am afraid I may not recover as well! I have really really high blood pressure and I think they are going to do the surgery and send me straight home. I am very scared please help!!!

sometimes I cough-up these disgusting whitish little clumpy ball shaped things from the back of my throat, yeah and well this has been going on for years. And recently hear I started to get freaked-out thinking something was wrong with me, so I checked the internet and I came across ‘Tonsil Stones’, and how everybodys been describing that, it seems like that’s what I have.
But I was thinking what if it’s not tonsil stones…. could it be something else maybe???
I’m not really sure, so I’ll check the internet a little more.

My tonsils are always changing with new lumps/craters and now part of it is hanging off. No, I haven’t been to the doctor’s yet due to no insurance. Is there any way I could fix this problem at home or make the swelling go down until I get around to the doctors, I also want to know how bad this infection can get and if I could die from it? Please help. No bs. Thanks.

I have tonsil stones, and have had them for a few months. I don’t know much about them, but they keep coming back. I can kind of poke them out with my finger when they’re sticking out enough, because I’ve broken down my reflexes somewhat.
I just want to know what I probably did to get them, and if there’s any way I can permanently get rid of them?

I am an eighteen year old singer about to enter college this week and I believe strongly that I have tonsillitis. The symptoms are all present, and it hurts like you wouldn’t believe. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it to the doctor’s until at least early next week. What is the best way to relieve the pain from tonsillitis using what a normal college student might have laying around?

Yuck I hate to think about it or even admit that I have this problem, it is so awful… Curse you, tonsils!
There aren’t any medical remedies that work, that’s for darn sure.

I’ve had this thing growing on my tonsil and I recently found out it was a tonsil stone and it can be scraped off, but whenever I try I gag. Is there a way to get rid of it without anything major?

I have a rather large tonsil stone and am afraid to "poke it out" or get surgical treatment.
1)What will happen if I leave it?
2)What will happen if I swallow it?
3)How long, if it does, will it take to naturally go away?
Thank you
